  1. There are so many! I would have to say helping my mom make beef stroganoff. She would cut up everything and then tell me what to do. My favorite was watching her pour the wine into the sauce and watching it bubble then she would let me add the sour creme and keep telling me to stir. I really don't think I need to keep stirring, it was her way of keeping me busy.

  2. MMMMM... I love to eat! My favorite foods as a child was grilled cheese sandwiches. And not just any grilled cheese, but the greesy spoon grilled cheese sandwiches I could only get on a road trip to either Bend or Seaside to see Grandparents... ya know, nasty white bread with the processed cheese, melted with greese from the griddle in the resturant. ymmmmmmm......

  3. I just tried to leave a comment, but it disappeared into cyperspace.... so here's the sweet and condensed version: my fav food growing up was greasy grilled cheese sandwiches from greasy diners on road trips to visit grandparents! yum!!!!!

  4. My dad carried a tradition over from his mom of Velvetta French Toast. May sound gross but it is the best! It is one thing that we always remembered having growing up. He remembers having it when he grew up too!

  5. Every year for my birthday my mom would make me salmon patties, rice and gravy, fried okra, and a homemade cheesecake. (I was raised in the south, if you couldn't tell!)

  6. My most memorable meal was when I was making steak with my father who asked me to season it and told me the seasonings to use. I accidentally spill cyan pepper in the mix and was scared to tell him so I just let it go till we ate and I didn't like it so I cried and finally told him what happened. He just laughed at me and made chicken to replace the meal I messed up. Looking back it was pretty funny!!
