Post them as a comment, and at the end of the month we will randomly draw from all the posters. Please include your email address! 1. When I was pregnant with my first child, my husband a I were shopping...somewhere...and the girl ringing up our purchases actually reached over her counter, patted my tummy (without permission), and laughed it all off, saying, "Oh, that's just what I do with pregnant women." I was aghast! Not only had she invaded my personal space, she touched my pregnant belly! You just don't do that to a pregnant woman, unless you have permission, and you're not a complete stranger. THAT is poor customer service.

  2. I was eating dinner with my husband at a very busy restaurant when my 5 month old daughter decided she was hungry too. I began breastfeeding her and of course one arm was now occupied since I had to support her sweet little head.

Our waiter was extremely busy, but quickly noticed that I was not able to eat my dinner because everything on my plate needed to be cut into bite sized pieces. He stopped what he was doing, came over to our table, cut up my dinner and deboned my fish! Then he refilled my water glass and gave me a big smile. I was able to eat my dinner while it was still warm!

Amazing customer service and a great human being!

  3. A couple months ago I stopped by Subway to grab a quick lunch for me and my 2 year old daughter. I also had my 11 month old son with me. When I got to the checkout, it was discovered that I didn't have enough money to cover everything I ordered. Embarrassed, I told her to take the sandwich off and I'll just get the other thing I ordered (my daughter's food). As I was walking out of the store, the lady who rang up my order ran out to me and INSISTED on buying my sandwich for me! When I went back inside, the person that was next in line insisted that HE pay for it! It just amazed me that someone who was working there was willing to buy me lunch! By the way, this was the one by Starbucks outside Walmart. SUPER nice people there, including the ones making the sandwiches!

  6. One of the best experiences I had was when I delivered my baby four months ago. I was exhausted/overhelmed by physical pain and a lack of sleep. I had just started bawling to my husband when a woman from records came into our room to complete birth certificate paperwork. I managed to compose myself and she was very kind about it. I felt better after she left and did not think much more about it. An hour or so later she came back to my room with a gift for me. She had bought me a teddy bear. She could have just done her job, but instead she did more. She left an impression by not only being kind, but by showing me she thought about our family after she walked out of our room. So sweet! shellie_chlarson@hotmail.com.

  7. Ok so this isn't really the worst but is pretty funny. I am 9 months preggo, due next wednesday. My mom came into town and took me out to lunch. we get into the resteraunt and the host asks if we want a table or a booth. mom says a booth, then looks at me and asks, "oh do you want a table instead?" This triggers the host to look in my direction, we make eye contact and then he looks down to see my huge belly and states, "uhm, our booth's are sorta small..." I hurridly said, "we'll take the table!" My mom couldn't contain her laughter!!

A good customer service I had was shortly after I had my first little girl. She was pretty stuffy so we bought a humidifier for her room. After about 2 or 3 weeks of using it and doing everything it said for propper care it got moldy and nasty and really didn't work well. I no longer had the box or the reciept, but I put that bad boy in a bag with water still in it and the store still took it back, NOW that is GREAT customer service!!

here is my email for when i win!!! tiffanyjoy83@hotmail.com

p.s. Where do i find your inventory to look at all of your goods?

  8. Service with a smile . . .

We were eating chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant and my 2 1/2 year old got a piece of chip stuck in his throat. He started coughing and gagging and then threw up. The chip came out (yea!), and most of the throw up hit the carpet and missed us. We flagged down a waitress and told her. She waved it off and said, "We'll clean it up later."

Ummmm . . . OK. But could we have a towel to wipe it up so we can eat dinner without throw up on our shoes?

"Don't worry. We'll clean it up later."

We did get the rag to clean it up and enjoyed our dinner. And we now know that carpeted restaurant floors contain a lot more than pre-digested food.

  9. One of my worst costumer service experiences was just plain weird. I was at the store and my 1st born was maybe 4. She had asked for some candy and I had told her no. Overtired, she started throwing a fit about it. A man who has known me since I was a child was behind me in line. He was teasing me about being a mean mom. He put some candy up and said he was buying at as a gift to my little girl. The checker refused to sell it to him. She said,"her mom said no". And really wasnt going to sell it to him. I couldnt believe it. He was persistent though and won out. I thought it was so weird that she butted in like that.
