  1. I don't have any SUPER exciting stories.. but here's one. We had been planning on going to the zoo with our friends/neighbors for a while. We got all our kids packed up in our cars and were all ready to go. We drove to the zoo.. and guess what? I had my days mixed up. We thought they closed at 9.. which only happens on mondays. For some reason I thought it was monday.. but it really was tuesday. I guess that happens when you have kids.. the days just pass us by without us realizing it! So the zoo was actually closed and we sadly had to pack our disappointed, crying kids back into the car and we took them to the park. I felt horrible!

  2. My parents were heading on a weekend trip to Eastern Washington and FINALLY let my sister and I stay home by ourselves. They left early in the morning, and just as my sister and I were settling in for a lazy afternoon, our parents walked in the door! The transmission blew, and my parents had to drive home, from Snoqualmie Pass, on I-90 at 35 miles per hour. Needless to say, everyone's weekend was ruined.

  3. When I was 14, we went on a family vacation through Utah, Nevada, Arizona, and Colorado. One one of our nights staying over in KOA we went swimming in the pool. Who am I kidding we went swimming every night. Anyway, after taking our swim I went to take a shower. I wasn't paying attention to the doors and went in to shower. As I came out there was a boy around my age standing there combing his hair. He looked at me, looked at the door, and back to me and said "you're in the wrong bathroom." I was MORTIFIED, but I somehow managed to say "oh, too bad you're not cute." (Mean, but witty!) As I left I noticed that they had two sets of bathrooms. On one side it went BOYS GIRLS and on the other side it went GIRLS BOYS.

  4. When I was in High School my Grandmother took me to a rodeo. We were "camped" out in our older motorhome. In the middle of the night we both woke up and swore we heard a baby crying. I jumped up and ran outside to look for this "baby". We felt so silly when we realized we were trying to rescue a baby goat that was tied to a horse trailer next to us:) Who knew baby goats sound so much like actual babies at 2:00am?
