I was so excited when I found out about MilkBank- a fantastic & healthier way to store breastmilk! MilkBank is a vacuum system that pumps the oxygen out of the bottle and vacuum seals it. (Clinical tests show that any level of oxygen exposure begins to spoil breastmilk) Oxygen can cause breastmilk to have an off-taste because it can distort the flavor. MilkBank also has come up with an insulated bottle that can keep the milk warm throughout the feeding. (Clinical tests prove that warm milk provides superior nutritional absorbtion). What could be cooler, other than straight from the tap, of course!
Danette, I like the fact that these are "safe" bottles, too, in that they are free of the phthalate chemicals that leaches out of some plastics and are absorbed by the consumer.
