My aching feet!

Today was a good day at work! I have definately felt the sting of the economy and it really sucks! When I have a decent day, I get a little less stressed out. Internet sales have picked up slightly, but are still nowhere even in the average range that we used to get. :(

10 hours on my feet was a long day...no wonder I have such bad feet. They always hurt. But if I think about it, I probably sit down for 30 minutes a day, and that's only if I have orders to put in! Brian is getting irritated with the fact that I am never home. There is SO much to do at work and I have a really hard time making myself stop! I get frustrated that all the little details and odds and ends that should be getting done do not get done, unless I do them myself. I feel like such a horrible mother, wife, housekeeper! My poor children rarely get a home cooked meal these days. And sitting down together at the table anymore? Doesn't happen. I get home around 7 many days, then it's bath, find something for dinner and it's bed time. This house is an atrocious mess! We are here long enought to mess it up but not long enough to clean it. My mother-in-law is putting on the pressure to get the girls room finished, but that's a job that will take time- time that I simply do not have. Sunday, after church is really my only option. But my sister will be here this weekend, so it's not going to get started.

Speaking of my sister, I'm very excited to see her! We will be going to see Rick Springfield in Tacoma again. Time away will be really nice! I'm going to take 3 days off! Woot! Hoping to take her to see Ellis too if we have time!

  1. Owning your own business is a 24/7 job. That's the drawback...you don't get to leave your work at the office and forget about it. But at least your children can go to work with you. My mom owned her store when we were children, and we never felt neglected. We were with her. Maybe you should put a kitchen in at the store! haha
